Most application portals want documents as a PDF, but your phone saves photos as JPG. Instead of installing yet another app (many add watermarks or ask you to sign up), you can convert images to PDF right in your phone's browser in seconds.

Convert JPG to PDF on Android or iPhone

1. Open the JPG to PDF tool in Chrome, Safari or any browser.
2. Tap the box and choose Photo Library or Files — pick one or several images.
3. Reorder them with the ↑ / ↓ buttons so pages come out right.
4. Tap JPG to PDF and the PDF downloads to your phone.

Tips for clean document photos

• Good light, no shadow. Shoot near a window; avoid your own shadow across the page.
• Flat and straight. Place the document on a flat surface and shoot from directly above.
• Crop before converting. Trim to just the document so the PDF looks tidy.

Combine several photos into one PDF
